Congratulations to the Taylor High School Class of 2026! Graduation is a special milestone for our students and families, and we are excited to celebrate this important moment together. Please review the information below to help prepare for commencement ceremonies.
Commencement Ceremony Information

📍 Taylor High School Stadium
Graduates must arrive at the Athletic Field House by 6:00 PM on graduation night.
Please note: Graduation will not be livestreamed. The ceremony will be professionally filmed and shared in the weeks following graduation.
Mandatory Graduation Practice
All seniors are required to attend graduation practice on:
- Tuesday, May 19 at 9:00 AM
- Thursday, May 21 at 9:00 AM
These practices help students become familiar with ceremony procedures and expectations.
Parking & Shuttle Information
Graduate Parking
Graduates should park in the baseball/softball lot next to the field house or be dropped off at the field house entrance.
Guest Parking
Families are encouraged to limit parking to two vehicles per graduate and carpool whenever possible.
Shuttle Service
Additional parking and shuttle transportation will be available at:
First Baptist Church
2500 Mallard Lane, Taylor, TX
Shuttles will run continuously from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM before the ceremony and again after graduation to and from the stadium until all guests have returned to their vehicles.
Please allow extra travel time to arrive before the ceremony begins.
Graduate Dress Code
Graduation is a formal event, and graduates are expected to dress appropriately.
Approved Attire
- Dress pants, khakis/chinos, dresses, or skirts
- Dress shoes or dress boots
Not Allowed
- Blue denim jeans
- Shorts
- Flip flops
- Crocs
- Athletic shoes
Please use caution when selecting high heels due to unpaved walking surfaces.
Graduation Caps & Stoles
- Students may decorate caps with college, university, trade school, graduation year, family name, etc.
- Decorations must remain school appropriate.
- Personal stoles are permitted but must receive prior administrative approval.
Ceremony Expectations
Participation in commencement is a privilege. Graduates and guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully throughout the ceremony.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed:
- Air horns
- Noise makers
- Beach balls
- Laser pointers
- Other disruptive items
Students who behave inappropriately will be removed from the ceremony.
Guests are asked to remain respectful during all speakers and presentations. Lawn chairs are not permitted in the stadium stands. Please also be mindful of designated handicap seating areas.
Inclement Weather Plan
In the event of severe weather, graduation will be postponed to:
