Advanced Placement 2026- 2027  

Taylor High School, in partnership with College Board, will be offering high school students the opportunity to take Advanced Placement (AP) Exams during the month of May. The College Board exam fee is $94 per exam, with an allowed fee reduction for those students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. For students enrolled in the corresponding AP course, Taylor ISD will cover the cost for the 2026 exams.  

● A student may be required to pay their own exam fee if:
          ○ they would like to challenge a test for a course they are not enrolled in,
          ○ they elect to order a test but do not show up to take the exam in May.

Students will select their exam decisions through their own College Board accounts for each individual test. The deadline for students to make a decision about ordering tests is October 9th. For “Spring Only” classes, the deadline for exam decision is March 1st. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that their College Board account is in good standing at time of registration to avoid issues with testing.
