Hello, Scholars and other family members and friends!

AP English classes are challenging and rewarding classes, and I am pleased that you are rising to the task before you in these college-level classes. You will find AP to be a rewarding and, believe it or not, FUN experience.  Developing your skills in reading, writing and speaking will definitely improve your success in college, and you have the opportunity to get college credit in high school. Plus your grade is fully weighted which helps your class rank

I am looking forward to this year and being your teacher!

Best Wishes for a successful new school year,

Mrs. Rowe

Academic Decathlon is both a class and an academic competition.

Students register for Independent Speech/Communications Applications and receive speech credit.  Advanced AcDec classes include AP Art History, Humanities I and II.  All AcDec classes receive the same GPA credit as an AP class. Scholars from the class will audition for the team of 9 who will compete for scholarships.

The ten topics include: art, music, literature, math, economics, science, social science, essay, speech, and interview.
