Welcome Taylor Ducks!  I am delighted to be teaching for my 21th year and my eighth year in Taylor. Teaching math is a passion and I believe that anyone can learn math. Being "good" at math is all about confidence. I hope to give each student the confidence to believe in themselves and have a growth mindset.

I am a life-long learner and enjoy reading, geocaching, camping and fly-fishing and kayaking. I've been married for 36 years and have four adult married children with five precious grandchildren.

ALEKS is a part of our online math ebook.  Assignments on ALEKS are minor grades that have unlimited attempts to learn a concept.  Students work the assignment until they get the grade they want.  There is no reason not to score 100 on each ALEKS assignment. Examples and Explanations are offered on each and every question.  In addition, students can ask for help on ALEKS when they come in for tutorials or in class when given time to work on assignments.
