Taylor ISD Athletic Training
"Once a Duck, Always a Duck"
As the Taylor Independent School District Athletic Trainers, we are actively working to keep our student-athletes safe, healthy, and playing the sports that they love. Athletic Trainers (ATs) are highly educated in sports medicine sciences, and specialize in athletic injury recognition, evaluation, diagnostics, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation (we don't just tape ankles!). ATs collaborate and work closely with coaches, administration, physicians, nurses, chiropractors, physical therapists, and dietitians. We're committed to ensuring our student-athletes are comfortable and confident coming to us with injuries, and make sure that they receive the best care possible. Meet Our Contracted Chiropractors!
We are very fortunate here at Taylor to have two local chiropractors facilitating care to our student-athletes. Dr. Paul Burow and Dr. Nathan Burow set-up in our high school gym athletic training room on Tuesdays from 11:30am-1:00pm, and provide sideline care during our home varsity football games. Both chiropractors specialize in sports-related injuries and are a valued part of our Taylor sports medicine team.

Dr. Paul Burow graduated Taylor High in 1982 and has been serving Taylor and surrounding communities since his graduation from Texas Chiropractic College in 1990.   He has taken hundreds of continuing education hours in sports injury seminars through his profession and has 30 years of sideline experience to contribute. Dr. Nathan Burow also graduated THS in 2009 and Texas Chiropractic College in 2018.  He has joined his father in practice at 612 North Main Street in Taylor. Dr. Paul lettered four years in football and Dr. Nathan ran track and cross country on district and regional teams.

Student-athletes can also be seen in their clinic here in Taylor.
