Teresa Nicolet, MSEd, LAT, ATC

I am one of two Athletic Trainers on staff at Taylor High School. This is my first year facilitating care for Taylor Duck student-athletes as the Head Athletic Trainer. Prior to joining the Taylor community, I was an Athletic Training Fellow at Harvard University in Boston, MA. During my time working in the sports medicine department at Harvard, I was the primary Athletic Trainer for the Women's Volleyball team, and assisted caring for Track & Field, and the Tennis teams.

I graduated from Winona State University in Winona, MN in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. From there, I attended graduate school at Baylor University in Waco, TX. I graduated in the spring of 2019 with my Master of Science in Education, Sports Management degree. During my time at BU, I worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Southwest Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics as the Head Athletic Trainer at Bruceville-Eddy ISD.

I'm looking forward to building the Athletic Training Program here at Taylor and helping our student-athletes stay safe and healthy. I am proud of my profession and stay up-to-date on all current evidence-based sports medicine practices in order to make sure my student-athletes are receiving the best care possible. I will always put the health and wellness of my student-athletes first, and approach my athletic training practice from a holistic perspective, aiming to treat mind, body, and spirit.

Go Ducks!
