Taylor Invitational
Varsity

Taylor hosted its first Invitational Tennis Tournament for the Spring 2021 season.  In years past these tournaments would have over 20 different schools and stretched across the city from the 8 courts at Murphy Park to the 8 courts at the High School.  Due to UIL restrictions for COVID, we were only allowed 8 teams (including us) per site.  Also, due to COVID restrictions, the park was unavailable for our annual tournament.
Despite all that...the kids and coaches were thrilled to be out again on the courts after a week of snow.  Taylors Boys Doubles team Trey Boles and Jake Jansky won the third place medal defeating Groesbeck 8-3  and Gatesville 6-1, 6-3.  Jacquelin Glenn also won her first match in Girls Singles 8-5 against Florence.
The Ducks Varsity Tennis Team will be in action again on Thursday, March 4th at 4:00pm, here at the High School.
JV will travel to Liberty HIll on Tuesday, March 2nd starting at 4:00pm
