Counselors cannot register you for the SAT: you do it on your own. However, if you qualify for free or reduced lunch, see your counselor to obtain a Fee Waiver.
Remember that you can also use the SAT fee waiver to send 4 college applications and additional score reports (beyond the 4 free reports provided with the original registration)
It is highly recommended that you practice seriously before taking, or retaking, the SAT. Practice has been proven to increase your scores.
