Taylor High School

Taylor Made Texas

Principal's Message

  • Principal WambleTaylor High School Community,I am so very excited to welcome our students and staff back to the building for the 2023-2024 school year. I take great pride in being named the principal of Taylor High School, and I look forward to building positive relationships with students, staff, and the Taylor community.
As the administration team, teachers and staff work hard to prepare our campus to bring students back into the classroom, I want to assure you that safety and security is our top priority as we plan for the year. We have conducted an in depth look at how we can operate more efficiently while also tightening up on procedures to provide a safer environment for everyone. Some of the new policies that will be implemented might cause a minor inconvenience, but please know that they have been put in place to provide additional safety for the campus. As educators, we understand the tremendous responsibility of keeping our students safe, so that we can provide them with a quality educational experience. It can often be an uncomfortable transition when a new principal and staff come on board at the beginning of the year. I believe that the resistance or hesitancy for change stems from a genuine love and passion for the organization.
Taylor ISD is an amazing district with a rich tradition of pride and excellence that will be valued as we embrace the changes that will take place over the next several years. The scholars of Taylor High School will have the opportunity to have a voice to create new traditions and provide leadership throughout the year.  Our goal at Taylor High School is to inspire students to achieve what they may view as impossible, equip them with the necessary skills and experience that will allow them to accomplish their dreams; and empower them to become the next leaders that will help transform our society.
My door is always open. Please feel free to contact me to discuss any concerns that you may have throughout the year. I look forward to partnering with you as we help each student to reach their full potential.Matt Wamble, Principal
